I think I've come up with the solution as to how to do this, but I wanted to check if this will actually work. ![]() I understand that this is the same shape as MiniDisplay Port (thunderbolt 2) and they are (somewhat) cross-compatible (thunderbolt 1 can go to thunderbolt 2, but not the other way around?). However, this laptop has only a Thunderbolt port for video output (Thunderbolt 1). I'm looking into running two external monitors from the Thunderbolt port (for school and work. I have a mid 2012 MacBook Pro, non-retina (In which I installed a 1TB SSD and 16gb RAM a little while back). ![]()
